The Year of the Metal Rat excites Philippine governance

Despite threats of coronavirus in the Philippines, hundreds of people still attend the most-awaited celebration of the Chinese New Year in Binondo, Manila.

While people found their spot in greeting their colleagues “Kung Hei Fat Choi” signifying a more abundant year ahead, the Year of the Metal Rat is seen to be an exciting one for the entire Philippines in the aspect of the economy and the governance of both President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice-President Leni Robredo.

For Chinese astrology consultant and feng shui expert Joey Yap, President Duterte is expected to be impulsive with his decisions but that does not mean a bad move since it proves that he can immediately get things done and be remembered through his unique strategies in addressing national issues.

As the founder of the Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics, Yap stated that it is an advantage for Duterte to be at Luck Pillar transition which may bring wider economic-centric strategies.

However, being born in a Rooster Year, there are 3 Peach Blossoms in the President’s chart which can be a sign of increasing unwarranted attraction if he would deal with the people born in the year of Rat, Rooster, and Rabbit. There are tendencies as well to create scandals if decisions are not planned vigilantly.

On the other hand, Vice-President Robredo has the attribute of bold strategies and a hands-on approach in serving the welfare and the community. Also, fast-paced growth in infrastructure is expected this year while technologies may face circumstances as means of challenge that asks innovation.

“Try to avoid engaging in speculative endeavors as the global economic outlook is not that vibrant despite appearances. The Earth element, which represents appearances, is strong while the Metal element, which represents wealth, is weaker in 2020. This suggests that the economy only appears good on the surface level,” said Yap, convincing everyone to be aware and stay alert since this year signifies nothing but a ride filled with bumps and sudden turns.

As closing advice of Yap, it is a necessity for everyone to plan ahead as opportunities might be lessened down. Not only that, broadening your skill is a need to stay ahead of others, for success will be driven by one’s ability in embracing sudden changes and advancement of the present generation.
